GraphicRiver Web Set Icons

Australian company Envato producing awesome websites approached us for creating a set of icons for one of its services — GraphicRiver. Interestingly, now they distribute these icons to everybody for free.

The subject for the icons was the Web and all related stuff. But redrawing logos was not an option; we had to enliven the apps icons somehow. In other words we needed to demonstrate a different look at the applications and programs still making them recognizable.

The deadlines were tough, so we rushed to sketching to make sure we understood the client’s idea.

Once the sketches had been approved with a pleasing to any designer “Fantastic!”, we went to drawing the icons in three sizes.

We were extremely pleased with the end result. And also, we really enjoyed working with Australian clients. I would like to take this opportunity to express my cordial best wishes to Collis Ta’eed!
